My name is Afsaneh, and I am the Practice Manager for both Goldsworth and York House Medical Practices. This newsletter is intended to keep you informed about recent developments and updates at our practices.

As you may know, Goldsworth operates across two sites, and patients are welcome to use either site depending on their needs and proximity. All GPs and clinicians at Goldsworth work across both locations, ensuring continuity of care regardless of which site you attend.

Practice Opening Hours

Both sites are open Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 6:30pm.

GP Appointment Booking – Our Triage System

Since April 2024, we have introduced a new triage system for GP appointments. This means that our administrative team no longer decides how urgent your appointment request is.

Each day between 8:30am and 4:00pm, an experienced GP works alongside two members of our admin team to review all online appointment requests submitted through our triage form. Based on the information you provide, the GP will determine whether you need an urgent appointment or one within the next two weeks.

We encourage patients to complete the triage form themselves, as you are best placed to describe your symptoms. However, if you find the online form difficult to complete, our team is here to help.

Practice Nurse & Healthcare Assistant Appointments

Appointments with our practice nurses or healthcare assistants can be booked directly by phone—you do not need to go through the triage process.

We offer a range of in-house services including:

Patient Participation Group (PPG)

We previously had an active Patient Participation Group, which helped us shape and improve our services through patient feedback. As some members have since moved out of the area, we are now looking to re-establish the group.
